What do I need to use Starfold?
A Mac or Apple Vision Pro running version 26 or later, a Microsoft account, and a fast, stable internet connection. For remote play you also need your own Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One.
Do I need Xbox Game Pass?
Remote play of your own console does not need Game Pass. Xbox Cloud Gaming requires your own Game Pass subscription where Microsoft requires one; free-to-play titles such as Fortnite can be played without it.
How do I set up remote play on my console?
On your Xbox, open Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features, turn on "Enable remote features", and set the power mode to Sleep so the console can wake up. Sign in to Starfold with the same Microsoft account and your console appears on the home screen.
Can I play when I'm away from home?
Yes. On your home network it just works. Away from home, your router needs UPnP enabled or the console's ports forwarded; check Settings > General > Network settings on the Xbox to test your connection and NAT type.
Which controllers are supported?
Controllers that work with Apple devices, including Xbox Wireless Controllers, DualSense and DualShock 4, and other MFi controllers over Bluetooth. On Mac you can also play with keyboard and mouse.

What happens to my data?
We collect nothing: no analytics, no ads, no tracking and no accounts with us. You sign in with Microsoft in your browser, so Starfold never sees your password, and your sign-in tokens stay in your device's Keychain.
